This tiny bothy offers a good bit of shelter from the elements.
It has an open fire so we can prepare an alfresco breakfast and brew some tea. Bring a mug if you'd like tea/coffee.
(You can specify a vegetarian option if you wish, when you RSVP.)
The route is on a firm track up to the adjacent reservoir. The first 400 yards are steep but the track soon levels out and there are usually some fine views.

Sunday morning 2-3 mile dog walk in Beddgelert Forest
Best to bring a flask as we should plan to take a halfway break up by the lake. There's a picnic table there.
There are no significant obstacles anticipated and the route should all be on forestry tracks and paths. Despite the recent rain the ground on these should be firm.
There are no livestock known to be grazing in the forestry, though previously we have encountered a little band of 3 rogue sheep up there, so vigilance is needed!

Do bring a flask and a snack, as there are various places that we can choose to take a refreshment break half way round.

Canceled Easy Thursday morning stroll along the coast at Criccieth
Whether we get to walk on the sand bit of the shore or the shingle bank will depend a lot on the weather and the state of the tide. We can take the coastal path outbound so that the tide should be falling enough for us to return along the shingle tideline back towards Criccieth.
The outbound route along the coastal path runs along between the railway and the fields. It is separated from the railway by a very good fence, but does cross in a couple of places with gates and stiles. After heavy rain, this path can puddle and be muddy in places.
Obviously, crossing the railway at the …
