Spectacular almost level 3.5 mile circular walk.
The first section is along a track through the Nannau Estate then alongside the serene waters of Llyn Cynwch, to reach a stunning viewpoint high above Dolgellau and the upper Mawddach Estuary. Those with a head for heights can continue at this level high along the “Precipice Walk”, an old miners’ path along the hillside. Anyone vertiginous can do the alternative return loop around the other side of Llyn Cynwch. The two routes rejoin and return to the car park back through the Nannau Estate.
The route passes by a few fields of sheep, but most of the route is expected to be free of …
