The paths and tracks here are all on good firm ground. We can vary the route on the day, according to the state of the weather, too.
The walk is expected to be about 3-and-a-half to 4 miles at the very most. If the heavens open, we could even reduce it to a circuit of about 2 to 2-and-a-half miles.
We shall walk up towards the lakes at Llyn Mair and Llyn Hafod-y-Llyn. This is a 41 acre woodland site, part owned by the Woodland Trust and part by the Snowdonia National Park as part of the Plas Tan y Bwlch estate.
Do bring a flask and a snack, as there are various places that we can choose to take a refreshment break half way round.
