Weather prospects remain a mystery so let's aim for a 2 to 3 mile walk in the relatively sheltered Beddgelert forest, up and around Llyn Llewelyn. Exact route we can decide on the day, according to circumstances.
Best to bring a flask as we should plan to take a halfway break up by the lake. There's a picnic table there.
There are no significant obstacles anticipated and the route should all be on forestry tracks and paths. Despite the recent rain the ground on these should be firm.
There are no livestock known to be grazing in the forestry, though previously we have encountered a little band of 3 rogue sheep up there, so …
