We will be heading up to scout trails. This is a good weekend for anyone who isn't sure they are up to the work of maintaining trails, to get an idea of how volunteer trail crew works.
One team will be dropped off at the northern trailhead for Lewis Creek and hike the length of the trail to the bottom, to be picked up by the other team after they have scouted the Shadow of the Giants trail at Nelder Grove. Issues that need to be addressed will be documented for future trail crew weekends.
Nelder Grove is still closed to the public. We have a gate key.
