It always takes multiple trips to clear all the trails in the Dinkey each year, even with the help of USFS Crews. We are going to plan on going in from the Cliff Lake Trailhead on this trip and clear from the junction with the Cliff Lake trail to Nelson Lake.
We will take our Crosscut Saws and all of the gear required for these trips plus our overnight backpacks and head out in search of the first tree. Plan to be out on the trail all day long, working and talking with the public about Leave No Trace and the local area.
What you will need:
- 10 Essentials
- Stove/Food/Water/A Bear Can
- Tent/Hammock
