It was noted last year by a WIlderness Corps volunteer that the trail to Hobler Lake had multiple trees down and is close to the Maxon TH making it a favorite spot, as I can see from a quick google search. After checking with the Sierra National Forest, they have not cleared that trail in a while. When this happens, Wilderness Corps adds this trail to its list of trails that it keeps its eyes on. I need four volunteers to sign-up and go out there with a Wilderness Corps Crew Leader, and a Crosscut Saw to open the trail up, so it doesn't disappear forever.
This will be an overnight trip due to the distance and number of trees down. …
