Weather forecast for Saturday is overcast and with a temperature of just 7 degrees, so let's take a 5 mile circular amble through the Beddgelert forest past Llyn y Gader and around Llyn Llewelyn, (which is a good place for a lunch break.)
We can easily vary the route if the weather takes a turn for better or worse. It's all on well defined tracks and mostly on forestry roads.
There are no significant obstacles, and the ground is all firm. There are no stiles and all the boundary crossings are gated.
