Easy short stroll along the coastal path from Criccieth. Total distance just less than 2 miles.

Whether we get to walk on the sand bit of the shore or the shingle bank will depend a lot on the weather and the state of the tide. We can take the coastal path outbound so that the tide should be falling enough for us to return along the shingle tideline back towards Criccieth.

The outbound route along the coastal path runs along between the railway and the fields. It is separated from the railway by a very good fence, but does cross in a couple of places with gates and stiles. After heavy rain, this path can puddle and be muddy in …
