A chance to walk up to the Greenway Route which has proved a success with walkers, wheelchair users and cyclists since its completion in April 2013, attracting 6,000 users in its first month. You can what the footpath is like and how wide it is from the second photo which I took the last time we walked it.
There is a sheep shearing station, some interesting rock formations towards the furthest point of the amble and I have now discovered there is a natural spring along this route which has been tapped to enable walkers to fill their bottles. We will have to listen out for running water.
