There are a few trees left on Nelson Lake trail. Wayne and I will be going next weekend for a low key weekend.
To attend, you should have registered as a volunteer via the Wilderness Corps website. There will be some paperwork to sign before we start out from the trailhead for those who have not reviewed and signed off on the Job Hazard Analysis for the year.
We work with hand tools in the wilderness, in this case a crosscut saw and axe. You will be asked to carry a tool.
Our crew leaders are certified sawyers and also wilderness first responders. All work is completed at the request of the USFS. We prioritize safety, but if the …
