A small team is needed to help with removing several trees from the trail.
We will need safety glasses or sturdy sunglasses, long sleeves/pants, work gloves, and boots. Only certified chainsaw sawyers will be using the chainsaw; chaps, chainsaw specific tools and saw will be brought by the crew leader. All other volunteers will be helping to carry tools, moving brush/branches, helping move pieces of the log, maintaining awareness of surroundings for safety, and traffic control to keep hikers out of the work area while the saw is operating.
We will meet at the trailhead, have a tailgate safety talk, organize the gear, and hike to the …
