Hey Everybody,
Well Spring is here, temps are rising and all is right with the world!!!
A couple of new tunes this week...an old goodie and one that will challenge your strumming skills. Ooh, La La is a fabulous Rod Stewart tune with a message we can all relate to. Viva La Vida by Coldplay is a song that Doug did as an open mic a while back. Take a close look at the strum pattern...DDDD UUUDD....its a bit of a change from the ordinary. We'll only use it for the intro and the instrumental sections, then back to your usual strum for the majority of the song. Listen to this Youtube video to get a feel for it...
