"BC Peaks & Trails" is Moving

Due to the unfair and unreasonable new cost of organizing one of these meetup groups I've decided to transfer it to this site that is free and fair as well as being similar in format as far as I can see. Meetup had decided to raise their fees to almost 600 dollars cad annually from around 200 dollars annually all at once. They suggested organizers can charge the membership the new exhorbitant cost which I didn't feel was fair to me or members. Hence the transfer to "DownToMeet" which may be a slam of Meetup I'm guessing. (:

Should mention that this Meetup version will be closed in less then 30 days which would be around early April

So I am transferring "B.C. Peaks & Trails." to the free platform DownToMeet

I no longer pay fees and it has fair non tiered membership.

1 GoTo DownToMeet

2 Click Create New Account. You will supply handle, email and password.

3 Click Join

4 An email will be sent to Activate your Account.

5 Open Email and follow instructions.

6 Once on the website find my group "B.C. Peaks & Trails" and join. Easiest, click Explore, Filter Fitness, Vancouver, BC, 25 miles.

At no time in the process do you click and supply your credit card. This is just a media add.
