This is a free-to-members Meetup replacement group to encourage and post outdoor events mostly for residents on the western side of the Las Vegas valley from Lone Mountain in the north to Mountains Edge in the south. Please join our companion Facebook group.

As a new DTM group, we will start our focus with tennis and a few hiking events, after the unexpected end of the 800 member Tennis 702 Meetup group. We encourage members to volunteer to become Event Organizers so you can post your own events - tennis, hiking, volleyball, pickleball, soccer, flag football, etc. (anywhere in the valley).

You can expect events for hiking and team sports like volleyball, soccer, etc. to be "hosted" with an organizer present to run things. Tennis events require less organizing (mostly just show up when you sign up). Tennis events will mostly be "unhosted" and these events will only happen if two or more members remain signed up for the event.

Worth noting: everyone hates event "no-shows". You may be banned from this group if this happens more than once. So, it is important to be courteous to other members by updating your participation status. If you are not able to attend an event, change your attendance status to "not going" at least 30 minutes before an event starts.
