NYC metalheads looking for fellow NYC metalheads into all kinds of extreme (and even some not so extreme!) music: old-school heavy metal, thrash metal, doom metal, black metal, death metal, hardcore, etc!

Basically, anyone who is down to chill and go to shows, bars, or just hang out from time to time is welcome. If you're not super into metal but are interested in learning/listening, you're welcome to join. The idea is a judgement-free zone: if you like power metal, you like power metal. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but my belief is that the metal community is an inclusive group of people who like music and like hanging out!
