Start: From meetup point @i30 and Dalrock rd Valero gas station to pass Greenville then exit 24 north through Commerce/Paris, then take loop east 286 around Paris,eat lunch at Sirlion Stockade, then hit 271 N to Hugo.Take Jake Pullen Bypass 70/271 west.Take 271 North to Antlers-turn right on 3 to 271 North (option to take 144 over to 259 N to 1 ) to Clayton  to Talihina,OK.Take 1/271 East to Start of the Talimena Scenic Drive.Take 1/88 to Mena with various pulloffs and staying at Ozark Inn in Mena. Eat @ papas Mexican Cafe.
